Two 1kWh power stations can look identical on paper and feel very different in an outage. The DJI Power 1000 V2 and the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus both carry 1,024Wh of LFP battery, both recharge in under an hour, and both work as a fast UPS. The difference is where each brand spent its budget: DJI pushed continuous output to 2,600W, while EcoFlow pushed solar input, expansion options, and a lighter body. This comparison uses published specifications only, with no hands-on testing claims.

Key Specifications

  • Capacity: DJI Power 1000 V2: 1,024Wh LFP, 4,000 cycles to 80%; EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus: 1,024Wh LFP, 4,000 cycles to 80%
  • AC Output: DJI: 2,600W continuous; EcoFlow: 1,800W continuous, 3,600W surge, X-Boost up to 2,600W for resistive loads
  • AC Charging: DJI: 0 to 80% in 37 minutes, full in about 56 minutes; EcoFlow: full in about 56 minutes
  • Solar Input: DJI: up to 1,200W with DJI adapter (check current DJI listing, adapters vary); EcoFlow: 1,000W total, two 500W MPPT inputs
  • Expansion: DJI: up to 11,264Wh with up to five 2,048Wh expansion batteries; EcoFlow: up to 5kWh with compatible EcoFlow extra batteries
  • UPS: Both around 10ms switchover
  • Weight: DJI: 31.3 lbs; EcoFlow: 27.6 lbs
  • USB-C: Both offer dual 140W USB-C ports
  • Noise: DJI quotes as low as 26dB; EcoFlow quotes about 30dB under 600W
  • Prices checked 2026-10-25: DJI US$399.98 on sale at Amazon US, list US$699 (TechRadar and Gizmodo deal reports, Oct 21 to 23); EcoFlow US$699 at REI. Prices move daily, verify before buying.

What Stands Out

The DJI unit has the stronger inverter for its size. At 2,600W continuous, it can run a microwave, a kettle, or a power tool that would trip or rely on X-Boost on the EcoFlow. If your outage plan includes one high-draw appliance at a time, that extra headroom matters more than any app feature.

The EcoFlow unit is the stronger solar and ecosystem pick. Its two separate 500W solar inputs make it easier to mix panel strings, it weighs about 3.7 lbs less, and its expansion path uses batteries already sold across the DELTA family. For a home office that may grow from 1kWh to 3kWh or 5kWh later, that flexibility is practical.

Things to Know

Capacity is identical, so runtime for the same load is broadly the same: about 8 to 9 hours for a 100W load using the usual 85% usable estimate. The DJI needs its proprietary SDC ecosystem for drone fast charging and some solar setups, which adds cost if you do not already own DJI gear. The EcoFlow headline X-Boost figure is not the same as true 2,600W continuous output, so check the continuous rating for motor loads and heaters.

Who Is It Best For?

Pick the DJI Power 1000 V2 if you want maximum appliance output from a 1kWh box, you charge DJI drones, or you found it at the current sale price. Pick the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus if solar recharging, lighter weight, and EcoFlow expansion batteries are higher on your list.

Verdict

At list price, this is a close call decided by solar versus output. At the sale price seen this week, the DJI Power 1000 V2 is hard to ignore for pure output per dollar. If you plan to live on solar panels during a longer outage, the DELTA 3 Plus remains the more flexible system.
